De-addiction and Education on Alcoholism

Since 1991 TCT and TTK Hospital, Chennai have together been conducting annual alcoholics rehabilitation and treatment programmes.

Alcoholics are identified, educated that alcoholism is a treatable disease and motivated for treatment. Those who enroll for the camp are given wholesome care, treatment and life skills for a rehabilitated life by TTK Hospital, for fifteen days. They are then followed up on a monthly basis for a year.

Treated alcoholics are involved in educating and motivating alcoholics to give up alcohol and to avail treatment at TCT.

Encouraged by the success of the programme, TCT has embarked on  a three year project to create Alcohol-free Villages
