Started a Rural Training Centre at Tiruvalam to meet several training needs of farmers and developed a model farm for ragi, groundnut and paddy.

At the Centre conduct regular training programmes for farmers on vermin-compost, organic farming, help with soil testing, develop and distribute seedlings etc.
