| TCT responded to the need for cattle care in 1992 when there was no veterinary service in the villages. TCT trained local boys in basic veterinary care to provide the following services – |
|
- Treatment at Veterinary Centres and Mobile Camps
- Emergency treatment at the doorstep
- Immunisation and de-worming of livestock and poultry
- Artificial insemination and pregnancy diagnosis
|
| With the growth of Dairy and Poultry industry and the emergence of regular veterinary service in the villages, TCT’s veterinary care programme became obsolete and was closed. |
