MeenaMeena of Mettumulvadi bought a bullock cart availing the loan from her Group and made good progress in life. She recalled emotionally the anecdote when she needed money for her son's medical expenses - a quick loan sanction by the Group followed by disbursal at the branch office.

talks about the small savings, which the Group encouraged in members. This enabled her to take loans for all kinds of needs. Her Group gave her a goat for rearing. Utilizing her loan she got a cow and increased her income. With the increased income she repaired her house and bought several assets for the family. She feels the most important service of the Group was the forum it provided to share the many mental burdens of the women.
 
Chandralekha
Chandralekha of Thennandiyalam is proud that her Group had taken a cumulative loan of nearly Rs.5 lakhs and that the repayment was regular by all her members. Now her son is an M.A., thanks to the loan given by the Group.
